I got married this month and there seemed to be problems with a good majority of the things that I coordinated, but not the cake! I scheduled Amy to make our cake and honestly, it was the easiest part of my wedding planning. She is a pleasure to work with, professional, and nailed it. The cake tasted amazing and looked almost too good to eat. Not one piece went to waste. She delivered the cake and it was perfect. If you’re looking for good service, amazing qualiy and to get what you paid for this is your cake maker. I wasn’t even sure exactly what type of cake to order but she helped me figure it out and everybody loved it. Just take a look at the pictures of her cake. Her art speak for itself.
Amy did such a great job with our wedding cake! We ended up with a 3 tier cake and adding some cupcakes for our big day. We had about 175 people there and all the cupcakes and cake were practically gone. The presentation and the communication with Amy throughout the planning process was great! I highly recommend SLO Cakery!
Amy made a stunning cutting cake for our wedding earlier this month. She was so responsive and helpful from the tasting to wedding day. She made gorgeous sugar flowers, and the cake was positively delicious. Our only regret was not eating more of it on our wedding day!
We went with The Cakery for our wedding cupcakes and they were an absolute hit! Amy truly delivered (literally) when it came to communication, taste testing, and understanding her clients needs. As I said before too, Amy delivered our cupcakes to the venue which made stressing over who’s going to get the cupcakes the day of vanish! She absolutely nailed the look we were going for when it came to colors and decorations and the flavors she uses are so delicious. She offered a to-go taste testing option which was super helpful in deciding and has plenty of options for people with allergies to certain ingredients. Amy was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for delicious and gorgeous treats for your special event! 💙
The Cakery was one of just a very small handful of cake vendors we found that was able to make a gluten-free cake for our wedding, and Amy absolutely crushed it. She was quick to respond to our initial inquiry, was able to accommodate a fast turn around time for our cake tasting, and (most importantly) made us the MOST DELICIOUS wedding cake! Nobody could tell it was gluten-free because it was just incredibly moist and flavorful. I bake quite a bit myself so I have pretty high standards when it comes to dessert, and Amy knocked it out of the park. We only wish we had more leftovers because it was that good!
The Cakery did a wonderful job on our Wedding cake and a birthday cake at our Welcome Reception. A delicious cake was my husband's one request, and our turned out absolutely amazing. We did 3 flavors - chocolate with caramel, traditional white on white and carrot with cream cheese. The birthday cake was beautiful and frosted with chocolate butter cream. We also had cookies at the Welcome Reception that people haven't stopped talking about. To quote my sister "I didn't know I liked snicker doodles until I realized I just had 4!" They were wonderful to work with and cannot recommend enough!
